NFL Playoffs bracket 2014: Seahawks advance to Super Bowl 48
By Josh Sanchez
Super Bowl XLVIII is finally set.
After a wild Championship Sunday in the NFL, the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks earned the right to play for the Lombardi Trophy in two weeks at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Denver got into the big game by rolling past the New England Patriots earlier in the day in the AFC Championship. With the win, Peyton Manning will be looking to add another ring to his trophy case. He also becomes just the second quarterback to play in a Super Bowl in the home stadium of his brother. Eli was the first to do so, when he played at Lucas Oil Stadium a few years ago.
In the NFC, the Seahawks were able to narrowly sneak past the San Francisco 49ers after holding off a late charge from the team. It was a thrilling team game that went down to the wire, but Seattle was able to come out on top.
Seattle and Denver will now meet on Feb. 2 at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
Here is when and where you can watch the Super Bowl in two weeks:
