Paul Millsap had 24 points, six rebounds, five assists, five blocks and three steals and Jeff Teague poured in 23 points to help the Atlanta Hawks hold off a second half rally and earn a 112-109 victory over the Orlando Magic at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida Wednesday night.

DeMarre Carroll added 17 points and eight rebounds and Pero Antic had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Rookie Victor Oladipo had 24 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals to lead the Magic while Tobias Harris added 19 points and 12 rebounds and Jameer Nelson scored 17 points and dished out seven assists.

The Magic trailed by as many as 19 points in the third quarter, but closed the quarter on a 17-6 run to cut the deficit to eight. The Magic then went on an 18-4 run to begin the fourth, led by Doron Lamb, who scored a season-high 13 points, making it a 35-10 stretch, to take a six-point lead.  The Hawks wouldn’t go away, taking the lead back on a Millsap three-point play, 106-105. After Oladipo hit a 14-footer and Nelson drilled a runner, Teague hit two free throws. On the next possession, Nelson took a wild shot and Pero Antic corralled the rebound and was fouled. He hit both shots to regain a one-point lead. On the next possession, Glen Davis took a fadeaway jumper with plenty of time on the shot clock and predictably missed. Antic made two more free throws. Nelson’s three fell short at the buzzer.

The Hawks are 22-19 while the Magic are just 11-32.
