Tim Duncan scored 17 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, blocked four shots and dished out two assists, leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 105-79 victory over the Atlanta Hawks at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia Friday night.

Duncan shot seven-of-14 from the field and played just 27 minutes before joining the other Spurs’ regulars on the bench because the Spurs turned this one into a laugher early. They raced out to a 13-point lead after the first quarter and pushed the lead to 21 by the half.

Boris Diaw and Patty Mills put up big numbers off of the bench. Diaw had 21 points and five rebounds while Mills poured in 19 points.

Tony Parker had 11 points and seven assists.

Paul Millsap scored 15 points, grabbed eight rebounds, had four steals, blocked two shots and dished out two assists to lead the Hawks. Lou Williams added 12 points and seven assists.

Cory Joseph, who is filling in for the injured Danny Green, was the only Spur to play more than 31 minutes.

The Spurs are now 33-10 while the Hawks are 22-20.
