Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman became one of the most talked about players in the NFL following the NFC championship, but his post-game rant caused some fans to begin piling on unnecessary criticism.

While people may focus on Sherman’s intensity on the field, they may not know that he is a great person and an entertaining character off the field.

Buzzfeed put together 23 reasons that we should all love Richard Sherman, but there was one photo that stood out. For Halloween last year, Sherman dressed up as a giant penguin. It doesn’t get more lovable than a penguin and you have to be an awesome dude to pull that look off, so Sherman automatically becomes one of the coolest players in the NFL based off of that look alone.
