Remember a few months ago when Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin were the biggest story in the NFL for Incognito’s ‘bullying’ of Martin which resulted in him going AWOL and entering a treatment facility?

That news has died down and many had probably all forgotten about it despite the outrage and vitriol that spilled over in the aftermath, but with Super Bowl XLVIII at the center of the football fans universe this week, Martin will speak with Tony Dungy on NBC with portions of the interview airing tonight.

NBC Nightly News will air part of the interview at 6:30 ET tonight and the full interview will air on Pro Football Talk on the NBC Sports Network tomorrow at 6:30 ET.

Is Super Bowl week the right time to sit down and break the silence for Martin? That is debatable, but sitting down with Dungy will be a soft landing for the Dolphins offensive lineman who should face a comfortable setting in speaking with the potential future hall of fame head coach.

We have heard Incognito’s side of the story when he sat down with Jay Glazer shortly after this news broke, so this will be interesting to see if Martin corroborates his side of the story and what exactly happened with this alleged bullying incident and what his plans for the future are.
