Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is getting ready to enter the final year of his rookie deal, but it looks like he could be in for a big pay day before the new league year begins. According to CSN Philly, Kelce and the Eagles are expected to reach a long-term contract extension before the beginning of the 2014-15 NFL season.

The base salary of Kelce’s current deal is set at $645,000, but a long-term deal will give him a significant pay raise.

Kelce started all 16 games this past season for the Eagles, and he proved himself to be one of the top centers in the game — if not the best.

Considering it was just in 2012 Kelce missed a majority of the season with a torn ACL, his performance in 2013 was nothing short of incredible.
