The Denver Broncos gave Knowshon Moreno a lot to cry about in the Super Bowl but the running back wants his tears to keep flowing in Denver — tears of joy that is. The Broncos lost Super Bowl XLVIII in perhaps the worst way in the history of the game but that hasn’t stopped running back Knowshon Moreno from wanting to return to the team in 2014.

According to 9 News Colorado, Moreno wants to re-sign with the team but isn’t pushing the issue at the moment.

"“We’ll see what happens in the offseason and hopefully I’m still here with this team,” Moreno said. He finished his most productive season since being drafted by Denver in 2009 by rushing for 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns. “I’m still part of the Broncos and that’s all good right now. We’ll see what happens with the rest.”"

That’s not Moreno saying he’s going to take reduced pay to come back tot he Broncos, but its clear that the team has had an effect on him and he doesn’t want to go anywhere else unless he has to.
