Late Saturday night, Oklahoma State star Marcus Smart got social media buzzing when he pushed a Texas Tech fan who was sitting court side after the fan got in his face. Smart was not ejected from the game, but there were reports that the Big 12 was considering disciplinary action against Smart.

Oklahoma State is still waiting to hear from the conference to see if any disciplinary action will be coming down.

In the meantime, Cowboy Radio Network analyst John Holcomb told the Tulsa World that he heard Smart tell Oklahoma States coaches that the Texas Tech fan called Smart the N-word.

Of course, the fan denied the accusations.

We may never learn whether or not a racial slur was thrown at Smart, but regardless of what occurred Smart will need to learn to control his emotions on the court and keep his focus on the game. It should also be noted that the Texas Tech fan, who is an older gentleman, should probably take it easy and not got in the face of 19-year-old kids.
