The Cleveland Cavaliers are in turmoil but they’re starting to try and turn things around, ever so slowly. With a new general manager holding things down, the Cavs have begun to plan out ways that will make them a better basketball team moving forward.

One way to be better is to trade away the mistakes. Kyrie Irving has been rumored to be for sale after saying he wants to leave Cleveland, but he’s the one thing that former GM Chris Grant did right and for that reason the Cavs are saying Irving is untouchable in a trade.

Per Sam Amico from FOX Sports:

"Similar noise has surrounded Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving, but you can put that to rest, said an opposing general manager. “Absolutely, positively untouchable, now and forever,” is how the GM defined Irving’s status."

This isn’t that surprising but it’s showing that the Cavs are truly committed to Irving. Saying he’s untouchable only means so much though, as the team needs to build a winner around him or Irving will very much want to be touched by everyone except that Cavaliers’ diseased fingers.
