The New York Knicks are neck deep in a mediocre season and the result has been a lot of chaos and turmoil. The Knicks have decisions to make about Mike Woodson’s future, don’t know where Carmelo Anthony will be playing in 2014-15 and are dealing with general unrest in the locker room and in the fan base.

The nature way to change all or most of this is to make a trade and it appears that the Knicks are trying to do exactly that. According to Marc Berman, the Knicks are in the market for a trade but it won’t land them one of the names you’ve been hearing. While Kenneth Faried and Kyle Lowry are supposedly in play, Berman states that the Knicks are targeting Glen Rice Jr in a trade.

"The Wizards reportedly have interest in Udrih. The Knicks would love to stockpile a second-round pick or Wizards rookie Glen Rice Jr., whom the Knicks had as one of the candidates to draft last year at No. 24 if Tim Hardaway Jr. was off the board, according to multiple sources."

Washington also wants to acquire a big man, which Berman suggest may lead them to landing Metta World Peace as well.

The trade deadline is in a week, which mean more and more of these deals will start to surface as the days and hours pass.
