The NBA trade deadline is approaching very fast which means that teams around the NBA are going to be looking for deals ahead of time so they can be worked out in advance. One such team are the Charlotte Bobcats who, thanks to a  winning season, are hot after Philadelphia 76ers guard Evan Turner.

According to the Charlotte Observer, the Bobcats have a deal on the table that would send Ben Gordon and an unspecified first-round draft pick to the 76ers in exchange for Evan Turner.

"The Bobcats presumably are offering Ben Gordon, whose contract expires after the season, and a first-round pick. But which pick? They own Portland’s, which will be late, and Detroit’s, which will be good to decent."

The 76ers will be mulling offers all the way up until the deadline, but this offer from the Bobcats is the first real deal that has been offered to them. It makes sense for both teams, the only question is will a better offer come along form someone else?
