New York Knicks’ guard Iman Shumpert remains a hot commodity.

Although it doesn’t look like the proposed deal that would have sent Shumpert to the Denver Nuggets for forward Kenneth Faried will go down (although it does look like the Knicks could deal point guard Beno Udrih to the Nuggets for forward Jordan Hamilton), the Knicks could still deal Shumpert.

However, Shumpert confused things last night when he injured his knee in a 98-91 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Shumpert was sent back to New York to get an MRI.

The Clippers have remained interested in acquiring Shumpert and would likely have to give up first round pick Reggie Bullock and veteran point guard Darren Collison. The Clippers probably wouldn’t mind doing that, but don’t want to take back Raymond Felton from the Knicks.

The Thunder could give a first round pick for Shumpert and they also have interest in rookie Tim Hardaway, Jr.
