With the NBA trade deadline passed, teams around the league are starting to look at moves they can still make in the form of contract buyouts. The deadline to have a player waived and still eligible for the postseason is march 1st and already some notable names are moving towards being bought out.

Glen Davis has already ben bought out by the Orlando Magic and Danny Granger is expected to see a similar thing happen with him up in Philadelphia with the 76ers. In Charlotte, Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Bobcats are in the process of buying out guard Ben Gordon.

This was something that was sort of expected, especially if the Bobcats couldn’t move Gordon by the deadline. He obviously wasn’t traded, but he’s still going to be on the move. The Miami Heat have been linked to Gordon for about a week now, and they’re likely going to be a place Gordon looks when he’s officially bought out.
