The Los Angeles Clippers 37-20 and in the Western Conference’s fourth seed, but they’re not content with hanging around the middle of the pack anymore. Los Angeles is on the prowl for March 1st deadline contracts as the team is hunting for the likes of Glen Davis, Danny Granger and others before that deadline arrives.

Head coach Doc Rivers told ESPNLosAngeles that he intends to actively recruit any and all free agents that the Clippers are targeting in an effort to get as god as possible before March 1st.

"“You always do,” Rivers said when asked if he would be recruiting this week. “I’m not going to say any names, but there’s more than one team that wants all these guys, at least a lot of the guys. You have to talk to them, for sure.”"

Davis and Granger are currently tops on the Clippers list but they have competition on all fronts. The Bulls, Nets, Spurs and Mavericks are in on at least one of those two players — if not both — while the Miami Heat continue to be the favorites to land whoever they want.

Rivers isn’t shilling for free agents, but his active recruiting is going to go a long way in helping the Clippers land someone before March 1st.
