The Seattle Seahawks are expected to release defensive end Chris Clemons as they put their focus towards locking up fellow defensive linemen Michael Bennett to the long-term deal, so the speculation will begin about where Clemsons could end up playing his 2014 football.

While it is an obvious connection, the Florida Times Union is reporting that the Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to show interest in Clemons if he is cut loose from Seattle.

Clemons played for Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley together in Seattle, when Bradley ran the Seahawks defense.

Jacksonville has in desperate need of pass rushers in the past, so bringing Clemons to town early in free agency can bolster the defensive front and perhaps allow the Jaguars to focusing on selecting a quarterback early in the 2014 NFL Draft.
