Updated NBA playoff odds

Now that the NBA season is winding down and we are getting closer and closer to the playoffs, our friends over at Bovada have sent us their latest odds.

The oddsmakers have given out the odds for six teams, who have their postseason fate still in question.

The Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns are expected to make the playoffs while the Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves are not.

The Hawks have struggled, losing 11 of their last 12 games to fall to 26-32. With big man Paul Millsap likely to return from his knee injury soon, the Hawks, who hold a three-game lead over the Pistons, including a four-game lead in the loss column, should be able to hang on to the eighth seed.

The Mavericks and Suns are in seventh and eighth in the Western Conference. The Grizzlies, who are just a game behind each and tied with the Mavericks in the loss column, still have an excellent shot at getting back to the postseason. The Timberwolves, however, are five games out.
