The Phoenix Suns seem to be playoff bound for the first time since 2009-10 and they’ve done it largely without the help of star point guard Eric Bledsoe. But while the team has flourished and become the underdog everyone is rooting for, that doesn’t mean they won’t be welcoming Bledsoe back for the postseason.

While the Suns are looking forward to getting Bledsoe back, they haven’t set a date for his return and the team reports that he’s still sore — albeit not in his knee.

The fact that Bledsoe’s body as a whole is sore is actually outstanding news. It’s clear he’s not close to returning but at least his knee isn’t a singular problem anymore and he’s to the stage of just getting back into playing shape.

Phoenix is a team everyone is rooting for and fans are salivating over the idea of how much better one of the best teams in the Western Conference can get once Bledsoe officially returns.
