The Green Bay Packers have already been clear on their intention to let wide receiver James Jones test the open market and walk as Jarrett Boykin takes over the No. 3 spot, so we have been trying to connect the dots on where Jones could land next.
While Jones says that he would still like to return to Green Bay, he also pointed out the Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers as possible destinations.
“Honestly, I feel that there is a chance that I can be back, and then I honestly feel that there’s a chance that I can’t,” Jones said on NFL Network’s Around The League. “This is the time where you just kind of wish that something would happen so you can know where you’re going.
“I’ve thought about places that I would like to go play, whether it’s in Indy or there’s coming back home, San Diego or somewhere. Teams have popped up in my head. I can’t say I haven’t thought about it, but in a perfect world I’d love to go back (to Green Bay).”
Anyone looking for a quality addition at wide should be interested in Jones, so he will have no hard time finding a new suitor once he hits the open market.
