
As the contract talks between the Tennessee Titans and running back Chris Johnson continue to drag on this offseason, most people don’t believe that he’ll be in a Titans uniform come next season. Really the only scenario that would bring him back to the Music City at this point would be for him to take a pay cut, which seems highly unlikely, and Johnson didn’t seem too confident in speaking about the recent talks.

Due $8 million, you would certainly think that the Titans could find a lot better things to do with that cash than give it to a running back that’s entering the second half of his career, more or less.
In the past, these two have had a hard time coming to terms on a deal, but with Johnson a little bit older this time around, you would have to believe that the team wouldn’t necessarily be heartbroken to see him walk away.
