The Dallas Cowboys are going to be spending a lot of time looking at how to fix their defense this offseason. Unfortunately the problem is complicated with personnel moves they’d rather not make, like potentially cutting defensive end DeMarcus Ware.

One Twitter user asked Bryan Broaddus of the Cowboys’ official website if there was a chance middle linebacker Sean Lee to weak-side linebacker and put DeVonte Holloman in the middle. Broaddus said it is a possibility and “are thoughts.”

Lee is very athletic and the Cowboys’ best coverage linebacker so the move would make sense to a certain degree. Of course the Cowboys defense has so many holes this wouldn’t be a fix-all shift, but it could be a beneficial one and they’ll take whatever they can get at this point.
