2014 NFL Draft rumors: Raiders prefer Derek Carr over Johnny Manziel

The Oakland Raiders are expected to add a quarterback at the top of the 2014 NFL Draft, but many have pointed to Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel and Louisville’s Teddy Bridgewater as the most likely selections with the No. 5 overall pick.

However, according to Bleacher Report, the team could be leaning in a different direction.

The report states that Oakland actually prefers Fresno State’s Derek Carr over Manziel and they could make him the No. 5 pick in the draft when they are on the clock.

Of course, there is plenty of time between now and May’s draft, so a lot can change by the time May rolls around.
