While the Cincinnati Bengals are going to put their efforts into focusing on Free Agents that are eligible this week, the team will also try and lock up three of their star players this offseason as well, as Coley Harvey reports the team will make an effort to give Vontaze Burfict, A.J. Green and Andy Dalton new contracts.

"The Bengals are also expected to attempt to re-sign receiver A.J. Green, Dalton and linebacker Vontaze Burfict this offseason. All three are eligible for new contracts now, but are on contract through next February."

While it’s highly unlikely that they would be able to get all three locked up before the 2014 season starts, two out of the three would be considered a huge win.

If they really want to shoot for the stars, Burfict and Green are musts to get contracts locked up. The team can’t be completely sold on Dalton under center, but you can’t deny the impact that Green and Burfict have had on this organization.

Green has lived up to his hype coming out of Georgia, while Burfict has been one of the more pleasant surprises of the league after going undrafted because teams thought his attitude would be an issue.
