Bears free agency news: Chicago showing interest in Ryan Mundy
By Josh Sanchez
The Chicago Bears are expected to spend the offseason adding talent to the defensive side of the ball, and they are apparently using the league’s legal tampering period to get a jump on a few players that will hit the open market when free agency officially kicks off on Tuesday.
One of the players that the Bears are reportedly showing some interest in is safety Ryan Mundy, who played last season with the New York Giants.
While Mundy isn’t a starting caliber player, he would provide some depth at safety for the team and add a talented special teams player to the roster.
The Bears are also showing interest in free agent safety Mike Mitchell.
