The St. Louis Rams were informed on Saturday night that offensive tackle Rodger Saffold would not be returning to the team in 2014, but they are also expected to lose another offensive lineman very shortly.

According to ESPN Rams reporter Nick Wagoner, the Rams are expected to release offensive guard Harvey Dahl in the “very near future.”

By releasing Dahl, the Rams would have a total of $15 million in salary cap space available, so they would be able to make some moves in free agency and work on improving the weaknesses on their roster.

St. Louis already has one of the worst offensive line situations in all of the NFL, so they would be wise to focus on adding talent early and often in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Luckily for the Rams, they own two first-round picks.
