New England Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib is one of the most coveted free agent corners on the market. The Washington Redskins have emerged as a suitor according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post.

From the Washington Post:

"The Redskins have expressed interest in free agent defensive backs Aqib Talib and Mike Mitchell, according to two people with knowledge of the situation. The Redskins aim to upgrade a secondary that struggled last season as Washington yielded 29.9 points a game, which ranked second-highest in the NFL."

Talib is familiar with Redskins defensive backs coach Raheem morris, who was the former head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Talib is reportedly seeking a contract that would pay him $9 million to $10 million a season.
