Davis looked like he was on his way out of Indianapolis on the eve of free agency as reports circulated that Davis would be signing on Tuesday, but that it would not be with the Colts. As we know a lot can change overnight as Davis will remain with the team that acquired him in a trade with the Miami Dolphins two seasons ago.
Davis, the younger brother of San Francisco 49ers pro bowl tight end Vernon Davis, started all 16 games at right cornerback for the Colts last season, but only had one interception in 2013 and has never had more than four interceptions in his five year career.
He recorded 50 tackles and 12 pass deflections last season to go along with his lone interception.
