Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr is set to work out for NFL scouts and personnel members on Thursday for his Pro Day, but it appears that he almost had to shut it down and skip his Pro Day.

Just one day before he was set to work out for the scouts, Carr was hospitalized and received IV’s but that won’t stop him from showcasing his skills today.

From Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports:

If Carr is able to put together an impressive work out with the knowledge that he was in the hospital less than 24 hours ago, expect that to boost his standing in the eyes of the scouts because of his toughness.
