The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to trade or release DeSean Jackson before the 2014 NFL Draft, but it appears that they may struggle to find a potential trade partner that is willing to give up a draft pick and pay up Jackson’s salary.

One of the latest teams that reportedly is out of the Jackson race is the Oakland Raiders, who are uncomfortable giving up a pick in this year’s draft to acquire the speedster.

From Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network:

Rapoport adds that the Raiders are interested in building through the draft this season, so they do not want to be short on draft picks again in 2014 like they were just one year ago.

If Jackson eventually gets released, then the Raiders and New York Jets would likely be the favorites.
