On Thursday morning, Texas A&M QB and former Heisman winner Johnny Manziel will take to the field in front of the most important people in the National Football League to make one final good impression before the NFL Draft gets here. To hopefully boost his stock a little more, Manziel has chosen to take the field wearing a helmet and shoulder pads, something that’s never been done before.

And according to NFL.com, one NFC scout believes that he and the other scouts are going to love it.

"“Scouts will love it,” an NFC scout not assigned to Manziel’s pro day told College Football 24/7 via text message. “Just something no one has ever done before.”"

What’s going to happen today in College Station with Manziel at this Pro Day will be the end all be all. Manziel did not throw at the NFL Scouting Combine, so this will be the first time everyone gets to see the entire package.

You can watch along live on the NFL Network at 11:30 AM ET.
