The eyes of the NFL were all on former Texas A&M Aggies quarterback and the winner of the 2012 Heisman Trophy as Johnny Manziel had his personal pro day and by all accounts, he put on a show, he was so impressive that Michael Vick sees a future star.

Vick, recently signed by the New York Jets to compete for a starting job after resurrecting his career with the Philadelphia Eagles knows all about the pressures surrounding a much-hyped draft prospect after he was the No. 1 pick in the draft by the Atlanta Falcons.

Manziel and Vick are both players who had their fair share of critics coming out of college despite their prolific stats and wins on the field, but Vick was able to overcome them and enjoy a successful NFL career, albeit one that was interrupted by a stint in jail.

Will Manziel be able to quiet the critics and join Vick in the club as a No. 1 NFL draft pick?

That remains to be seen, but he’s got star power written all over him no matter where he’s picked.
