What’s better than a hole in one and an eagle in the same round?  Making a hole in one and an eagle in the same round on Saturday and on Sunday.  That was the amazing accomplishment of LPGA player Laura Diaz at the Kia Classic.

On Saturday, Diaz made an ace on the par-3 third hole at Aviara Golf Club, and followed it up with an eagle on the par-5 fifth hole.

On Sunday, Diaz made an ace on the par-3 sixth hole, and followed it up with an eagle on the par-4 seventh hole.

How do you explain the unexplainable?

"About three months ago, my husband introduced me to Train to be Clutch, which is run by Joshua Medcalf.  Really helped me work on my mental game, anything’s possible.  I think yesterday my brother sent me a message saying, “To hit it to five feet requires skill, to make it go in is luck, to do both is hardwork paying off.”  I went out today hoping I could get another one, just really using my head to see how wild and crazy it could get…and I went nuts."

"It’s pretty amazing.  I’m very fortunate I have an amazing support system.  My husband Kevin, who is the coach at Wake Forest University, has stuck by my side to get me over the hump."

"Anything’s possible.  Today just proved it, and yesterday proved it."

The celebration starts with the drive to Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California for the first major of the season, The Kraft Nabisco Championship.

"I’m hoping to celebrate while I drive in my new Kia to the Kraft [Nabisco] Championship.  Other than that, I really want to hold my kids.  I haven’t seen them for two weeks, so anything to get a little closer to them."

Diaz finished at two-under total (73-73-70-70).
