Monday, free-agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson went out to visit the Washington Redskins, and apparently that visit went rather well as it’s being reported now that him joining the team at this point is basically a “done deal.”

Once Jackson was released on Friday morning by the Eagles after they were unable to find a trade partner willing to take on his large contract, and amid gang tie allegations, the Redskins were one of the first teams to pop up in conversation as a possible destination.

This now creates one of the more intriguing storylines in all of the NFL as Jackson will get to see the Eagles twice per season, which you know he’s going to relish that fact every time that he takes the field.

Plus, this now gives Robert Griffin III one more weapon in the offense to work with and also gives some much needed help to Santana Moss, who the team re-signed early in the free agency period.
