NFL Rumors: Robert Ayers visits New York Giants
The New York Giants have made several big moves in the offseason, including the signings of cornerback Walter Thurmond and safety Quintin Demps. They made their biggest splash by agreeing to a contract with cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
They also agreed to a deal with one of their own free agents, defensive lineman Mike Patterson Monday and signed former New Orleans Saints’ offensive lineman Charles Brown on Tuesday.
It looks like they are not done.
The Giants could use some help at defensive end after Justin Tuck signed with the Oakland Raiders and one player they are looking at is Robert Ayers.
According to Howard Balzer of LockerDome.com, the former Bronco visited the New York Giants.
Ayers was originally drafted by the Broncos with the 18th overall pick in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Ayers had 29 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 15 games last season.
