A week ago, the St. Louis Rams signed free agent cornerback Greg Reid and offered him the opportunity to get his career back on the right track, but it didn’t take long for Reid to find himself back in trouble with the law again.

According to ESPN.com, Reid was arrested Saturday for violating probation. His probation is related to a 2012 arrest for possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license.

There are no exact details on the arrest, but Reid is currently still in jail while he is held without bond.

Reid recently took part in the Florida State Pro Day on March 18 where he caught the attention of the Rams, and now it is unlikely that his tenure with the team will last longer than the amount of time he is in jail.

This may have been Reid’s last chance at sticking in the NFL.
