NFL Draft Rumors: Jadeveon Clowney went through Pro Day with slight groin pull

Star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney took to the field Thursday morning on the South Carolina campus to go through his Pro Day and show all of the scouts for the final time that he is the best overall player in this upcoming draft.

He certainly delivered, as scouts and analysts were wowed with his performance on the field, and now we’re learning that is was more impressive than originally thought, considering he completed the workout with a slight groin pull.

Well, that certainly puts just how impressive he is into perspective. Watching the pro day unfold live, you would never even suspect that there was anything wrong with him at all. He looked fluid going through all of the drills for the coaches, and didn’t seem to even come close to running out of gas.

Now, all that’s left after today is for the Houston Texans to decide what they want to do with that top overall pick, and if today was any indication, their defense might be getting beefed up a bit.
