Now that DeSean Jackson has signed with the Washington Redskins, a lot of the focus in free agency will turn to Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson. While he’s not officially a free agent just yet, Ian Rapoport is reporting that he very well could be by the end of this week, early next week at the latest.

This impending release has been talked about for a while now, and the team has to get it done before they begin offseason training activities. If anything, it would probably be a safe bet that he’s gone from the team by the end of the week so they can move on.

As for potential landing spots, there’s a lot to factor in with this, given that fact that his production has taken a huge dip recently, and his work ethic has been heavily scrutinized.

Whatever the case may be, the Titans won’t have to worry about it anymore soon.
