The Carolina Panthers may have lost out an virtually every receiver they talked to but there are also other holes on the team that need to be filled and the front office is scrambling to fill as many as they can as to afford as many draft picks as possible for wide receivers.
One of the players being brought in could possibly fill a need at safety as former Atlanta Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud is set to visit the Panthers this week.
Speaking of safeties… Ex-#Falcons FS Thomas DeCoud is set to visit #Panthers on Monday, source says. Was in Detroit last week. Big upside

Signing DeCoud would be beneficial in more than one way as the Panthers need a safety and would also have an inside track on their division rivals in Atlanta.
The main thing it would do is fill a need at safety so the Panther can feel alright about passing on someone like Ha Ha Clinton-Dix in order to draft a receiver.
