Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams is headed to Buffalo after a trade, and is excited to be playing for his hometown team. With that being said, Williams said he also thinks that he needs to do some growing up.

“Yes, I think I do need to grow up a little bit more,” Williams said, via Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News. “I think with me having a son, it made me realize things a little bit more and how important it is, and what type of future I have for him and my family. A lot of people are depending on me, so you’re right, I do have to grow up.”

Williams was unloaded for a sixth-round pick and will be playing opposite the talented Stevie Johnson. Williams has been close to crossing the 1,000 yard mark a couple of times but never has. He only played in six games last season and caught 22 passes for 216 yards and two touchdowns.
