Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley expected to return on Wednesday

After missing three consecutive games as a result of an Achilles injury, Boston Celtics combo guard Avery Bradley is set to return when the team lands in Atlanta to take on the Hawks on Wednesday night.
Brad Stevens says that Avery Bradley looked good during Monday's practice and he is expected to play Wednesday night in Atlanta.

For the lottery-bound Celtics, Bradley’s return is nothing more than a small positive to see if he is a true building block. After all, the 23-year-old guard has a reputation as being one of the best on-ball defenders in the entire league, and with improving offensive skills under Brad Stevens, he could likely use the extra court time down the stretch of the season to prove his worth.
Still, the bigger story here is that Boston will be at near full strength as they take on the Atlanta Hawks, who are fighting for the 8th spot in the East. To be fair, Atlanta is firmly in control of their own destiny with a 2-game lead and tiebreaker advantage over the Knicks, but if the Celtics can rise up and knock them off, they could play an entertaining spoiler role. Stay tuned to see if Bradley can go, and if he can, how he plays once deployed.
