The careers of Kansas stars Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid are over but the same can not be said about the Duke career of Jabari Parker. It has been the year of the freshman but Parker may be one of the only ones returning to taste life as a sophomore player as more evidence has surfaced that suggests he’ll skip the NBA Draft and remain at Duke for another season.

According to Philadelphia 76ers beat writer Tim Moore, Parker has applied for and secured sophomore housing for next year which shows he’s more than serious about returning.

Of course, Parker is clearly covering all his bases which is a smart move considering he’s still unsure of his future. But the fact that he’s so unsure that he’s covering all his bases is something that has some worrying he’s going to stay and the only basketball fans that will be happy about that are the ones at Duke.
