Former Pittsburgh Panthers’ quarterback Tom Savage has been a hot name lately.

Savage, who attended three different schools during his college career, has seen his draft stock rise as of late, according to Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network and NFL.com.

Of course, there are plenty of teams in need of a quarterback so Savage could make a big move up the draft board.

According to Adam Caplan of ESPN’s NFL Insiders and Sirius XM Radio, Savage visited with the St. Louis Rams on Wednesday.

The Rams plan on rolling with former top overall pick Sam Bradford again this season, but he has not proven to be the answer, at least not yet.

Savage started his career with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, but soon, but transferred to the Arizona Wildcats. He returned to his home state of Pennsylvania to play for Pittsburgh in 2013.

He completed 238 of 389 passes for 2,958 yards with 21 touchdowns and nine interceptions last season.
