NFL Free Agency: Carolina Panthers sign Alex Hall
The Carolina Panthers have caused a lot of headaches for their fans (and even some of their players as running back DeAngelo Williams admitted on the NFL Network Thursday) during the offseason.
The losses of Steve Smith to the Baltimore Ravens, Brandon LaFell to the New England Patriots, Ted Ginn to the Arizona Cardinals and Domenik Hixon to the Chicago Bears have stung despite the signings of former Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery, former Philadelphia Eagles’ wide receiver Jason Avant and Baltimore Ravens’ tight end Ed Dickson.
On Friday, made a signing, announcing that were making an addition to perhaps the deepest part of their team, the defensive line.
Hall had brief stints with the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals and was placed on a few practice squads, but never could hang on and went to Canada to play for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
