
The NFL offseason is about to heat up, with teams around the league beginning their offseason workout programs and the NFL Draft just around the corner. There will also be a number of deadlines that will affect players contracts and league meetings to discuss the progression of the game, so there will be a lot to take in over the next few weeks.
Thankfully, the plan is laid out and we can get a quick look at when each key date of the offseason will be taking place.
Here are the key dates for the next two months, via Pro Football Talk:
April 21:Â Offseason workouts begin for: Arizona, Atlanta, Baltimore, Carolina, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Miami, New England, New Orleans, N.Y. Giants, N.Y. Jets, Philadelphia, St. Louis, San Francisco, Seattle.
April 22: Offseason workouts begin for: Buffalo, Chicago, Green Bay, Oakland, Pittsburgh, San Diego. (Note: Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, Tennessee and Washington all began workouts on April 7.)
May 2: Final day to sign restricted free agents.
May 3:Â Deadline to extend contracts of 2011 first-round picks for a fifth year.
May 7:Â Final day to match offer sheets to restricted free agents.
May 8-10:Â 2014 NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
May 19-21:Â NFL Spring League Meeting in Atlanta.
May 27:Â OTAs (Organized Team Activities) begin for most teams.
