There hasn’t been much news on the Chris Johnson front since reports surfaced that the free agent running back was overvaluing himself, but there remains at least one team interested in adding him to their roster.

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets have not been scared off by Johnson’s demands and they remain interested in signing him.

The Jets may not be willing to meet Johnson’s asking price, but if they are one of the only teams showing interest he may have no choice but to sign with them if he plans to resume his playing career.

Eventually, Johnson will give in and sign with a team, but he’s currently prepared to wait it out and take a patient approach to the process.
