
As soon as the New York Knicks hired Phil Jackson, speculation about which former Jackson players he could bring in began.
There have reports that he could hire Derek Fisher in a front office role or even make Steve Kerr the next head coach.
Instead, the first former player he is reuniting with is Lamar Odom.
According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, the Knicks have officially agreed to a deal with
Odom. Begley also reports the Knicks have a team option on Odom, which is why they signed him on the last day of the season.

Odom has played for four teams over his NBA career, averaging 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
