The Baltimore Ravens have been looking to figure out what to do with defensive lineman Haloti Ngata and he’s not been of much assistance to their cap situation. While the Ravens would like to lock Ngata down to a long term deal that not only provides cap relief but keeps him in Baltimore for years to come.

All of those talks have gone nowhere though and NFL Network reporter Albert Breer has noted that the Ravens reached out with a ‘lucrative’ contract offer but were turned away by Ngata.

That’s a bug cap figure for the Ravens to balance and it’s one they’re desperately trying to recede. There are ways to get that number down but it’s very clear that Ngata isn’t going to play ball to the extent the Baltimore Ravens would like him to in this whole process.
