The Indianapolis Colts made a big mid-season move to trade for Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson. He struggled in the Colts offense rushing 157 times for 458 yards, a mediocre 2.9 yards per carry. Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has said that it will be important for Richardson to be present during the offseason program. His absence from the Colts’ training camp and trying to jump into the offense midseason was pointed to as some for his underwhelming stats with the Colts.

“It’s going to be very, very important for (Richardson) to be here for the offseason program and to dive into this thing full steam ahead, which he will,” Pagano said, via the team’s website.

“He wants to be great. He’s got all the talent. He’s got all the ability. We would have never done what we did if we didn’t believe that deep down in our core. So we look for him to have a great offseason and to have a great 2014 campaign.”
