In the attached article they say Meachem called New Orleans “home.” They also share Meachem’s enthusiasm to face off against defensive back Champ Bailey in practices.
"Meachem said he’s excited to test his skills against another veteran the Saints signed this offseason, defensive back Champ Bailey. According to Meachem, Bailey “is already a Hall of Famer.”Meachem said going against a player like Bailey, who has such a deep understanding of football and route running, will make him better and the team better."
Meachem caught 16 passes for 324 yards last season, a pretty ridiculous 20.3 yards per reception. He also had two touchdowns.
