Kansas City Chiefs re-sign wide receiver Kyle WIlliams

The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed wide receiver Kyle Williams according to Adam Caplan on Twitter.
Williams was claimed off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers back in November and ended up tearing his ACL a week later. That was the second time that Williams has torn his ACL in his NFL career, so it appears that he could be a long shot to make the 53 man roster.
The former sixth round draft pick back in 2010 has only 45 receptions for 562 career receiving yards and four touchdowns. He was injured most of the 2010 season where he played in only five games with the 49ers and only recorded one reception for eight yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He’s most known for his fumble against the New York Giants in the NFC Championship game a couple of years ago where he fumbled in overtime. The New York Giants kicked a game-winning field goal that would eventually lead to them winning the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.
