After finishing the season by winning just five of their last 13 games and then being easily disposed of by the eighth-seeded Atlanta Hawks in game 1 of the first round matchup, 101-93 (the score doesn’t indicate the way the Hawks dominated the game), the Indiana Pacers have been heavily criticized.

Center Roy Hibbert, who finished second in the Defensive Player of the Year voting, an award that was won by Chicago Bulls’ center Joakim Noah, has been at the center of the criticism.

Hibbert has played very poorly and although he is a two-time all-star and usually is an elite defender, his career numbers are being questioned. One website even made a fake Amazon add putting Hibbert up for sale.

The Pacers trail the Hawks 52-48 at halftime of game 3 and Hibbert is off to another poor start. He has four points on one-of-six shooting, three rebounds and zero blocks.

In perhaps his worst moment of the series, Hibbert missed a dunk in the first half.
